Processed at 70áµ’F with a typical thickness of 0.1 – 1 mil (0.0001” – 0.001”)

An excellent choice for either Clear/Non-Dyed (Class 1) or Dyed (Class 2) parts

Clear/Non-Dyed results in a natural/non-cloudy aluminum color for 5XXX series, light-dark grey for 6XXX series, and a grey-gold for 7XXX series

Current available dye colors: Black, Flat Dark Earth (FDE), Olive Drab Green (ODG), Gun Metal Grey, Gold, Blue, & Red


Type III Anodizing

Commonly referred to as Hardcoat Anodizing

Processed at 32áµ’F with a typical thickness of 1 – 2 mil (0.001" – 0.002”)

Optimal for higher abrasion applications

Naturally produces a darker, elegant shade, suitable for darker colored dyes
